Never had much luck with the surface iron unless it was a school of breezing hungry fish

, I've caught most on yoyo iron

(My favorite outfit used to be a Penn 4/0 Special narrow on a Truline D-8

, now I use a BeastMaster 12/30=the original TLD 30 2-speed mounted on a Calstar 665H w/60# Hollow Ace & Seaguar 60# fluorocarbon top-shot

) .
