Calcutta 250 setup

So I got a smoking deal on a Calcutta 250 and a turners 7'6 calico special (I understand the warranty is nuts on that thing.)

This will be my first light tackle setup and I'm looking for reccomendations on how to set it up. I was thinking put a good backing of this 30lb braid I have that is strong as hell and about the size of thread. So if I want to double it as a rockfish setup I can drop deep.

I was thinking like a 30 yrd topshot, but of what? I've never cast flouro before and it doesn't feel as limp as mono, so should I do like 15 lb mono?

I'm planning it to be a multi purpose rod, bay, kelp, stabiki, rockfish, and anything else that pops up. I know a few guys here have them, what's your setup like?

I got it for 100
