LJ afternoon shift 9/22
well i guess time on the water is not the key to catching fish. launched at 1215 and landed at 530p with nothing to show. i did catch a bonita which was fun. and a rock fish that was released. incidental catch not targeted. i need to look up the regs on those to see if i can bring home dinner one of these days.
so where at the pier is it legal to fish for bait? the north side? in front or south? could someone link to a map? i paddled to the kelp and spend all day trying to make bait with no luck. i'm sick of the whole kelp thing and am thinking of going north along blacks and beyond. thanks for the help and congrats to those that caught dave
