Yellowtail Stir Fry
This recipe is super easy to make, and is always on the list of my favorite meals to eat using fish that I caught. You can get fancy, or keep it simple. I like it simple. No, the recipe isn’t ground breaking, but it is a good one to try if you haven’t thought of it yet. Total cook time is less than 10 min. You could add or subtract ingredients too.
Ingredients Yellowtail (Or another firm fish) Yoshida’s Marinade (Or another marinade) Rice Stir Fry Sauce Hosin Sauce Olive Oil Stir Fry Veggies. You could go fresh if you want, but I like the frozen because they are cheap and easy and still taste good. Marinade the yellowtail in the Yoshidas for no more than an hour. More than that, and the yellowtail will take up too much sauce, and it will overpower the fish. Cook the rice. Microwave the veggies. Cut the YT up into small chunks. The rest, I all do on high high heat in a big wok or skillet. As hot as you can get it. Heat up some olive oil to cook the fish in. Cook the fish til its barely done. Throw in the veggies and the rice. Put in a splash more of olive oil. Pour in some stir fry sauce, put in a tiny bit of oyster sauce, some chili if you like it hot. Stir and cook the whole mix on high high heat til its way hot, and then put it on a plate and mow it. Heck, I’m sure this is so un traditional that it barely qualifies as a stir fry. All I know is that its tasty. |
