LJ 2/15 Found my birthday present...

Launched with Ryan at 0600, after Dan. Hightide, 2-4' thumpers, stiff offshore wind, water temp 57, water vis 15'. Paddled to the kelp and looked for bait. Nothing, so we tossed iron. The wind later died and it started looking promising. Birds, cudas, and bait came through thick... Picked up a lot of logs, and a ling. Towards the end of the session, one more cast... Drop, crank, and ZZZZZZ... 36lbs, Salas 6xjr B&W, on the retrieve. Thanks for the otw shot, Dan. And, Ryan for the assist.
