Line capacity for catching YT?

I was wondering how much line capacity would be the minimum needed for trying to catch YT? Or various fish in So Cal?

Reason I ask is that I fish left hand reels so my selection of reels are limited.

I fish lefty equipment. Get an Avet SX and fill it up with 65 lb. spectra and you can do just about anything with it. It will hold about 250 yds. of 65 lb. spectra.

I personally don't want my reels to have much less than 150-200 yds. of line.
