i am a bit disappointed that you had not been a very good grasshopper learning from your master jorge. he has his pots setup and you did not learn from him? stop messing around with those promars and just get the l.e.d. sticks. maybe you two should had more lessons on the setup rather than holder each others "kayaks" that first night. |

Agreed!
Not sure which version I have, but I bought them at oex 1-2 years back and they have been problematic from day 1. I don't want to buy throw aways, but need something RELIABLE! 2 of 3 used last sat, worked at home, but not on the water.

These are $4.99 at Home Depot, they blink, have a flash light, and stay solid. They come in 5 colors, have a free lifetime supply of batteries through the company and are waterproof. Best glow sticks I've found so far. |

I got the Promars from Sport Chalet as well and returned them. I could tell by the packaging that I was not the first person to return them.
I ended up getting the Life Gear Glow Sticks that are waterproof. I got them off Ebay. The glow sticks came in today and they look good. They are as bright as the other non-waterproof glowsticks from Home Depot and seem well constructed. I will try them out on Friday. Two of the glow sticks were out-of-battery because they were accidentally turned on during the mailing process. Other than that, the seller is legit. Ebay Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Life-Gear-Wa...item2eb8620855 Rei Link: http://www.rei.com/product/802218/li...oof-glow-stick $15 for three....not too bad. We'll see how they handle hooping from a kayak. |
