12/23 Mission, on a mission

Finished up work early and decided on a quickie to Mission Bay. Got a huge scoop of sardines after launching from Mariners Point at 2 PM. Wanted to head outside, but not enough time. Speed drifted the ripping outgoing tide in the channel for one short halibut that had me thinking it had to be a good one as it pinned the rod in the holder, peeling line, a sandie and a huge lizardfish.

I am thinking of a Tuesday morning launch as there are good tides to go out and fish in front of Mission Beach with a scoop of $5 sardines.
