you'll get a million and one suggestions ... I preferred mine on the left rail of my OUTBACK at arms length ... cuz I like farming my fish on the right side ... good luck

I was going to post the exact same question yesterday. I went to OEX to get a Ram diamond shape mount but they were out, I'll have to order it. I tend to go between full gps, full sonar screen, split screen and zoom options on my unit, having it on the sail mount makes it hard to get to. I never stopped to think about which side I prefer to bring the fish up until I read Oscars post, guess I'll be mounting it on my left side.

I have mine on the left .... Best to have it on the opposite
Side of entry. I jump in on the right.... I also split my paddle In half (I have a outback ) to keep things tighter and more organized. Best.... |
