Cigar smoke is coming out of my computer. That is HUGE! I'm guessing 38# and I usually under estimate.
I was figuring you'd pass me someday - just not today. Congratulations, Arne |

Looks to be about a 8-10 pointer. Or do you count more than the tail? :shock: Are you sure you didn't put up the slam sticky, then take this bad boy out of the freezer from your Alaska trip? :twisted: Let's get some DNA checks here. Congrats on an awesome catch.

Here's my engi-nerd Weight vs. Length curve-fit equation based on previous halibut that have been caught in the West Coast Whoppers:
Weight = -0.0142566 - L*0.01229494 - L*L*0.0038020312 + L*L*L*0.00054960791 That's right, I get laid almost never. But anyway, I'll speculate that your 46" fish goes 44.87 pounds. Cajunman's 44 incher was 40 pounds. Hubz |

WOW that is a halibut if I've ever seen one. It's a beast :!: Only you... you couldn't just get the slam with a decent halibut, you had to go catch a 35 lbs monster 8) Now cool it hot dawg... Todd
