Very cool, congrats.

I remember the 53# halibut from your avatar. I think it's the biggest CA halibut ever caught on the kayak. That is pretty big deal, if you ask me

But can I give one piece of kayak buddy advice?
NEVER leave your gaff in that position
In the excitement of such a nice catch
you may slide that right leg back just a little bit and bang
