Squid Making Tip - Kayak Fishing Adventures on Big Water’s Edge

With the thin spread of the Squid, recently I have been having better success with a single weighted Squid jig than ganions (sp). Also, I have been working the jig more slowly with a delay at the bottom of the lift and drop. And one last thing, when you find them, be sure to get some on the hook and in the water cause they attract fish.

Disclaimer: The writer of this post knows next to nothing about catching Squid nor Halibut but is an expert in dumb luck once in a while.

Yesterday was a good day,I saw some nice fish brought back. I talked to you at your truck when you were loading up. You guys got me so enthused, I can't wait to get all the propper gear so I can try to get in on some of this action. Great job

The photo just never really shows how big these things are, watched you trying to secure that huge slab of meat to your yak. You need a bigger rope!
