WTB Waders

I know there was a post on here last year regarding wader types but I cannot find it with a search now. I have done the wetsuit thing in the past and want to get something a little more comfortable for this winter.

Recommendations?

Thanks,
Jim

I just got a couple of Hodgman breathable guide pants from Sports Authority. They also have the breathable chest-high waders as well as the rubber/vinyl pieces of crap. The breathable guide pants are pretty nice. Add a paddle jacket and you'll be nice and dry and toasty. The breathable waders/pants are the way to go. They are a lot more comfortable than the non-permeable type. The material is similar to Goretex. As the water gets colder, you might want to wear some wool socks inside the waders. Twice in the last month Sports Authority has had all of their Hodgman waders 20% off.
