It would depend on if you like the speed over the hull slap and stability, I can stand on my outback no problem and also I noticed that there have been a few peeps here that I have heard that upon buying a revo and after a couple of outings it seems they have had issues like leaky hulls. I dont know the details or extent but maybe one of the guys can chime in on that subject.
I myself have an outback and I love it especially staying dry. Sailing rudder and turbo fins are not so much a must but helps out a lot. The hobie bait tanks are good too but over time the pull switch goes bad but its a wear and tear thing so its expected, I guess just give it a good rinse off with the hose when you get home and your good. hope i answered some of your questions at the least. |

heres how you can get a basically new hobie for a lot less than new.
go to f^stl@nes (pm if you cant figure it out) they have new hobie's they send on their one and half day mothership trips,( i believe one coming up soon) they bring them back, wash them down and sell them for used hobies, they have one day use on them and they knock off $400.00 dollars, you can buy the bait tank also, same deal used one day for $200.00 but you may get a better deal than i did last year. every thing that you would get with a new hobie is included, seat, paddle, dry bag, cup, etc. last year they had several colors. they go fast so you need to be down there when they get back from their trip especially if you want a certain color. need more info? pm me
