I guess this explains why Seaforth is driving all the way to Mexico for rockfish, man I am really out of the loop!

Rockfishing in California is off limits from December 31 to March 1st. Lingcod is legal on April first, and that's no joke. I'm looking forward to getting out on the Yak for some of the deep fish.

I'm with ya there, I have only gone one time on the yak, and that was just at the end of the season, but a good time, can't wait to do it again
