Where in Baja? I have some O.T I need to burn. I've been thinking of a trip to San Quintin at K & M.

Chunky Fish. I heard the baja yt pull a lil bit harder. Can't imagine what a 40#er would pull like. Congrats!

I caught it at isla San roque about 5 mi north of Asuncion off the kayak. You can launch right in front of the isla. I think Juan was too crudo to get out but I heard they got em good today.

Nice fish....I've never been too "crudo" to go fishing altho I give it my best shot most of the time. The next few months until a Baja spring trip are going to be torture.

few more pics. just got back couple days ago.

on the day we went out with Juan I hooked into a 50 plus pound fish that I could not stop on a JX 6/3 50 lb test and got severely rocked. Extremely mean, brutally strong fish. Bring 60 pound if you go...
