Yak Wheels Question

I'm curious as to what you guys do with your yak wheels once you set your yak close to the water? Do you load it up on your yak and strap them down, or do you take them back to the truck/car?

I have returned them to the car when parked close to launch but usually take them apart and store them under the hatch. I use this cart and it works fine in sand and harder surfaces. Wheels and cross supports come off easily and quickly and set up is also fast, saves time when you get back to the launch not having to go back and get your wheels.

Those little clips that have a ring on em are key. I just pop the ring out, wheels come off and throw it in the hatch. If I dont have a bait tank, ill throw it in the rear cargo area upside down and just strap it in.

Otherwise like he said, just back in the car if im not lazy/its close.

I lock mine to the wood post with a bicycle cable & lock. No one has ever messed with it or complained.
