New guy

It took six trips but I put one in the boat at 0930 on 9/1. It was my first fish in a kayak. I'm hooked. Leo came over to watch me try and lose the fish with my gaff technique (lack of), gave me some great advice and took some pics for me. Thanks Leo. Fish was 41", don't know the weight. Flylined small spanish mack, yellowtail alley.

Nice catch! Trying my luck at it tomorrow. I'm hoping to get out early enough so that I can get out and back at the beach before all the crowds come in.

fished again this afternoon. had three baits picked up by something in a 15 minute time frame just past the condo, nothing hooked up. lots of mackerel looking at the sabiki but not taking. caught one cuda trolling on the way home. tricky surf exit.

Well done!

You look stoked---I know that look quite well. As they say 'Welcome to the addiction'. I'm hooked, too!

This look says alot! 33.3% Excited... 33.3% Exhausted... 33.3% Disbelief... 100% Stoked

If catching fish on the yak is an addiction, then The Darkhorse is Tony Montana... oh he'll introduce you to his little friend. She'll be back... Couple of quaaludes, she love me in the morning.
