Lost Gaff Today @ Shores

LOST GAFF

The Short version:

I lost my dear Gaff around 8:25-8:30 pm @ LJ shores today Fri June 11, 2010.
2' Calcutta.
(It was wrapped five times around my huck fin sun hat.
No butt cap, but the hand cord at the end is glued in.
Their is also some small clear surgical tubing zip tied to the head.)

The Fat:

I started to head in tonight, and remembered my usual check list of things to button down on the way in. I reattached my wader belt, but mistakenly threaded it through my seat strap..I didnt know till AFTER i hopped out just around the impact zone, to find I was securely attached to my plastic sled..Right as 1 big mother came to wreck me, I was able to decipher what was hanging me up, and I unclipped with .8 of second to spare..Just enough time to throw my yak toward the beach while I delt with some mayhem..My yak tipped over and spilled out a few goodies Right at the triangle divider.
This gaff is Very special to me. Although I have lost All my luckythat I have caught my firston, as well as all my.
I at least still had this gaff with that mojo on it I cherished..
PLEASE could you return my rusty ol' lockjaw gaff asap..
My partner saw a couple leaving with 1, but didnt realize it was mine till I told him it was missing five minutes after..
The hat was unwound from the gaff and discarded by the steps at the bathroom..
