hey guys

hey guys im new to the area just moved here from ohio. ive been fishing all my life...i dont have a kayak or anything at this time but i was wondering if anyone could give me some tips for fishing from the beach for pearch or whatever else i can catch from the beach...and what are some of the bigger fish i can catch from the beach

Jake,
First of all don't tell anyone where your from! :shock:
But now that your here in CA, welcome brother! First your gonna need a pole with a line winder. (fyi in CA we call it a rod & reel) next you will need to get some bait. Berlkely blood worms -Carolina rigged seems to go good in the surf.
Awe, screw it... I would find these two local expert surf / kayak fisherman guys who go by T-man and Boz. Buy them lunch and a few cerveza's and your life will be much better. These are two fantastic local fisherman...If anyone can put you on fish from the surf these two can!

Second, get a kayak ASAP and contact Hook1 for the goodies. Big fish are only a paddle away
