OEX Night Tournament 11/13

OEX Mission Bay Kayak Fishing Night Tournament

Friday, November 13th


Back by popular demand OEX Mission bay will be hosting another night tournament on Friday November 13th (anything can happen on Friday the 13th). We will start the night with an Informative seminar covering fishing techniques and night fishing safety by OEX Pro Staff member Dave Easton. These are very low-pressure fun events with a small entry open to all skill levels.


Snacks and Beverages will be provided during the seminar.


We will also be offering 10% off our now larger tackle selection featuring Tenacious Baits, Bugz Jigs, Big Hammer, and more!



$10 Entry

6:15 pm - Seminar w/Dave Easton

7:00 pm - Launch

10:00 pm - Weigh in Deadline

10:15 pm - Awards


Top 3 Fish Place in the $$$$:


50% 1st place

30% 2nd place

20% 3rd place

      • Can only weigh one fish and it must be released alive.
      • Bass only
      • No live or cut bait, artificial baits only
      • Boundaries are the bridges
      • Human powered vessels only
      • Must conform to all DFG and Coast Guard regulations
*You must have a light to be legal!

Scotty Sea Lights are awesome. The Larger folding model is best.

Rav3n805 I have an extra floating basket I will bring that you can use. I have used these during bass tournaments and they do the trick.

What kind of kyak? I have a tank you can use probably. Even will sell it to you at a decent price if you plan on fishing the trail this year. Just would like to sell it to somebody who needs it next year so I dont have to deal with their mesh bag on the weighboat....

Ill get you details on the tank in a bit. Its the tank iw as using on my Trident when I was fishing the tournaments.


Well guys looks like I will be fishing this event. First kayak tournament in a few years.

Troutman/JrBasser will be fishing it as well.

sounds like Saturdays are better for a lot more people. We will plan the next one for a Saturday for sure.
