Lake Cuyamaca Labor Day

Took my girlfriend and her little dog to the lake for an introduction to my pide and joy (Trident 13). Fished a little for a whole lot of nothing but had a bunch of laughs and may have spread the bug we call kayak fishing. Too bad she said she won't go to La Jolla with me, or is it?

Looks Fun. Cuyamaca has always been on my "to do" list. I'll maybe try to camp there in the winter. Sorry about the little dog.

I was up there that day and saw you guys. I watched you both cross the lake in the wind with your dog. I thought you guys might sink! Your gf was pumping out h20 as you were crossing!

I also have been wanting to get up there for some fresh water fishing and camping. Mostly just an excuse to buy some new really light fresh water tackle though

HAHAAHA, yeah that was us. Certainly a challenging paddle with those two. just wanted to get to a less crowded area in as few trips as possible. You should have seen her face when the water was shooting up through the scuppers.

Bilge pumps work!

I've heard of using puppies for shark bait, didn't realize they were good for bass and trout!
