Tournament funds distribution

As participants in the Steve Moyer Memorial, when a change is made in the distribution of the funds raised from the tournament I feel obligated to let you all know. Not that it should be an issue but you all entered a tournament where the funds were slated to go to the ACS. We have made a slight change in the distribution of the funds so for full disclosure I need to keep you all in the loop.
Please Read the thread below for our reasons for the slight change.

http://forum.kayak4fish.com/viewtopic.php?t=12275

Thank you all again for joining us at the tournament and for helping us with this worthy cause.

Thats what this sport is all about.

Jim Sammons and Matt Moyer, awsome job. What a good example they set when they represent the kayakfishing community.

Thanks again Jim and Matt you guys are true ambassadors of this sport.

For those of you who participated in this event thanks as well.My son is the blessed recipient of the $2000 donation from the Steve Moyer memorial tourney. And the timing couldnt be more perfect, just a few hours before I had put my kayak on craigslist.I am throwing in some pics of my son so people have a face to add to their prayers. The swingset in the backyard is part of what the Make a Wish foundation is giving him,his own little playground.Again, thanks for everything.

What a beautiful little boy you have. So glad to see the funds raised are going to help you in your time of need. That is what it's all about! Keep fighting the fight. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Thanks Jim for letting us know about this change. Very, very cool thing to do.
