A day late
After about a ten minute fight with several blistering runs, he wrapped me up really bad in the kelp. 15 minutes of tugging and pulling later, I had almost given up when finally I snapped through the kelp, brought him up to the boat, and let out a big holler. Would have been much easier with spectra, but was very surprised at how hard you can pull on 30lb mono. Should have taken Sammons's advice; snugged the drag a little more and kept him out of the kelp in the first place. Thanks Mark for taking the picture. Hope you found yours. |
