Some final thanks and numbers from the tournament
So the number of participants and the fish counts were down from years past, but the fun quotient was high. The food was awesome, Thanks Matt The prizes were awesome, Thanks Sponsors The Shirts again were awesome, Thanks Bill Kanles for the art. Thanks to all of you that did enter even though you had no intention of being there, just showing support. Thanks to all of you that did enter and showed up to fish and be a part of the event. Thanks to all of you that showed up at the BBQ just to be part of it and buy those raffle tickets. Thanks to the Moyer Crew that helped to serve all the food, the line was never very long and the food rocked. Thanks Ballast Point for the refreshments. Thanks Allene, my wife, for getting up early and helping with the sign in and then selling raffle tickets all day. Thanks Mark Olson of Ocean kayak not only for getting us the the kayak to auction off but for getting to the park at 4:00am to rope off the area for the weigh in. Thanks Chris Young of the Padres for helping us get those great items for the silent auction. Thanks Brent of OEX for the great prizes for the on the water Raffle. Thanks Reebs and Nate Rabasco for being our weigh and bait boats. Thanks Everingham Brothers for the bait. Thanks to all of you who have made this event every year and make this such a good time. We had a total of 128 person signed up for the tournament. With 115 actually fishing the event. We had 19 walk ups. As normal most of our charitable contributions are generated through the raffle. After all expenses have been paid we will be donating $7406.00 to the American Cancer Society And $128.00 to the KFACA This is 100% payout from the event.
