Thumbs up LJ Sunday

Paddled out pretty early this morning, was hooked up and had a fish aboard before the sun was peaking over the La Jolla hill. Back on the beach by 7:30 and headed home. After a few days of nothing it was nice to feel the line pull tight again.

Congratulations. Its a great feeling to paddle out, make a little bait, and harvest a fish before the beach even begins to fill up...until that drive home where you are going, "wait a minute...its over already?" I bet you are already planning your next outing. I hooked up yesterday just like that and now Im looking at the middle of the week and thinking..maybe....just maybe......

Exactly..... I wouldn't want to leave the water when I know they are there... I'd cry a little when I absolutely have to go.

Nice! I'm jealous I wasn't there that morning. Looks like it was wide open!

You gotta love that eternal look of surprise a yellow wears out of water.
