Lost License
I know this isn't much of a report but.........I need some help. I lost my fishing license last night, most likely at the launch. I keep it in a license keeper clipped to my gear bag. I think the plastic hole broke and it came off. If you could keep your eyes open I would appreciate it. thanks, Eric |

Do you still have the carbon copy from when you bought it? I think there is a process to get a new one if you have that.. some way of requesting a duplicate from the dfg. Maybe someone who has done that can help, or check the dfg website.

I took my carbon copy to squidco, and bought another license for $10. That was a couple years ago. Also, had to pay for the Ocean sticker again too, but better than full price. I think you can take the carbon copy to any shop/store that sells them.

That's sounds like fishy advice. I don't believe retail stores make any money off of fishing licenses. And they store has prepaid them. So anything they give you "free", they paid for. That emplyee that hooked you up could have probably been fired for that.

I dont believe they do either, which was why i got it for less..no mark up. stores log in too, but it was because i bought it there legitimately.was in his records, he remembered me, and in the composition book.i didnt have my carbon. he didnt have the lobster card recorded, but my enhancement & license was thankfully.. |

'I dont believe they do either, which was why i got it for less..no mark up.'" Um... there is no mark up on the retail value to begin with. Which means everyone pays the "cost" price. So if you got it for less, they paid the rest of it. I don't think an employee at walmart would be one to make that decision. |

I got a new copy, a bright green one to label me "irresponsible" I guess. I had to pay a fee and then they also got me for another Ocean Enhancement stamp, $13.25. The DFG office is easy to get to and didn't take long but I am going to figure out a better way to keep it on the inflatable.
thanks |
