SD Bay Report, new to site!
Decided to hit up SD Bay... Mallory below practicing her casting skills before hand... Here is my view literally after driving for several days through the desert... Fishing was slow, a short halibut each, and plenty of greenback pacific mackerels... Well, we held some guy up to take our picture. Look forward to catching Albacore Tunas fish in the kelp forest out here in San Diego! Mickey & Mallory

WTG!
Nice first post, you two. It's the greatest hobby you could share! Start slow, and by summer you two will be slamming the yellows off of La Jolla.

How cute. Did you two hold hands and watch the sunset, or do you only do that with Ken.

Chris,
Way to incorporate your gal into your kayak fishing, and glad to hear she loved it. Watch out though, she'll start to catch bigger fish than you  .

:P Ok, that was a good one...but yeah, I ain't going, I decided after I spent 4 days there taking a looksee. Unless they make me an offer I can't refuse, that's a lot of $$$ if they want me to go. The people are really cool over there though, very nice, pleasant, and respectful unlike here. I had to whip out my gentlemen like qualities to fit in....
The only exciting thing was going to Bass Pro Shops...I've made countless orders online and that was the first one I ever been to. Oh yeah, the only other thing was seeing where JFK was shot and the window where the sniper shot from. I was always under the impression that it was a decent sniper shot, at least 500 meters, but the elevated view he had appeared to be clean & clear and it couldn't have been more than a 200 meter shot...that dude is even a bigger loser than I thought. |
