BBW Huntingtion Harbor

The weatherman did not scare off many, I offered "bring a buddy" to give new people an opportunity to try kayak fishing and had 5 take me up on the free offer. There were 32 people in the jackpot, with 2 junior anglers.

Benjamin Tweedt borrowed one of my Mini Xs and won the Junior division with a 1'10 sandbass.

Jaime Gama was one of the guys I set up with a loaner X Factor. His 2# 11 oz spotty beat out a few other 2+ spotties and sandbass.

thanks Forefrazier for taking these pix!

Thanks for everyone that came out, quite a few from SD checking out the place for next months big tourney.............it is gonna get a lot fishier! I only managed a pop tart and a dogfish on the plastic today

We will be hosting a prefishing event May 30th and the tournament on June 6th, so there may be a lapse in the BBW.........but ya never know.

We had a great time and are looking forward to the next BBW. We (David and I) are so glad you set this up. Its the kind of low pressure fun event thats perfect to bring my boys out and enjoy a day of fishing fun and comaraderie. Yes I did say boys. bMy youngest Daniel will likely be joining us soon as the fishing picks up a bit more and the weather warms a little more! Thanks again!

I had a good time....even though I caught NO bass. Three short halibut, two croaker and a 22" white seabass! Fun for sure.
