Late LJ report 9/24

Went out found macks that wouldn't bite. After a while they started hitting the sabiki but you had to put it right in the middle of the school. It was tricky cause my fish finder battery kicked the bucket. Didn't see anyone hooking up but heard one guy did. Saw a school of big yellows floating over the kelp area, I'd guess in about 65' and threw a stick bait in front of them but they sunk out. No bites after trolling bait around for about 3 hours and packed it in. There were a good amount of small bonito schools running around if you want a poke snack.

Bummer that the FF malfunctioned. Cool that you atleast saw a few Breezers. Vicariously enjoyed your report.. Better luck next time.

Thanks John, I enjoy your posts too. We'll have to meet up next time I'm out your way which should be January. I'll have to see if one of the old Hobie fishing team guys will loan me a yak or bring my i trek 9 haha.
