Horseshoe Kelp 9/4/22

Water temp was about 74 degrees at the kelp. Drift was moving inshore at about 1.5mph, making the paddle back a bit of work.

Tons of life around. Fish/sharks/dolphins/birds/sealions. Bass/Cuda were chewing for our 3 person caravan of kayaks, but no yellows or seabass would eat, so I can't say if they were there or not. 15-20 boats on the spot, if you go beware of having your flyline or trolling plug too far back an getting hung in a propeller/ran over.

Good to see your report. I hate it when power boaters crowd kayaks
