A good way to save a few bucks. I have the Hobie version but have recently purchased a vittle vault for experimental purposes. Costco is carrying the container for 24.99. I like that you left one scupper hole open for fast drainage purposes. When both scuppers are in use for a Livewell the back area sometimes stays uncomfortably flooded.

ya I went to Costco to buy a new vault but they only had smaller ones. The one I had purchased a year back from Costco was larger so I just used the old one. Either way they are great for making the bait tank as they are light, cheap and easy to work with.

Looks good................my suggestions:
1. get rid of the bungee cords and use straps instead, the bungee cords will stretch out after a while 2. Mount everything to the tank with stainless steel hardware. If you should happen to flip over the tank will float and being that all the additional hardware is strapped to the tank it should minimize your losses. 3. The trailer connector that runs to the battery box is likely to corrode, it won't happen tomorrow but I can almost guarantee you that it's going to corrode. if you're doing beach launches I can guarantee you it will come in contact with water. If you mount the box to the tank you can put the connector inside the box and prevent saltwater exposure. other than that it looks good.................tight lines!!!
