Nice couple of fish. Were both of them on the slow pitch gear?

Thanks, Both were taken on jigs with slow-pitch style hooks -- they hook fish easier. The outfits I use are the same ones I use for speed jigging. The catch was taken while intermixing speed and slow jigging. I have dedicated slow pitch gear, but prefer the hybrid style.
With the speed conventionals, slow pitches are done as needed. It's more physical work, but when a connection is made, it's an easier land. |
