Marina del Ray

Anyone fish marina del ray? Going out there on Monday and don't really know any spots other than along the jetty, and any help would be appreciated. I'll be launching from mother's beach if anyone wants to join

Buy live bait at the cage next to the village.

Fish around there for halibut.

You may also get barracuda or bonito.

Watch out for the boats looking to buy live bait.

Tight liones.

Labor day is a super busy weekend, so be extra cautious of the power boaters. Three years ago a kayaker was killed by a boat near the jetty. The boater did not even know the incident occurred until notified by another boater. As a professional mariner, it seems unreasonable that the boater was not charged with failure to maintain a proper lookout and manslaughter.
