Can Anybody recommend.....

A good off grid charging system for trolling motor batteries, besides gas powered generators
I'm thinking solar power charging system and don't know how well they work and how long it takes to charge a low deep cell battery. If somebody has done this I would be happy to hear from you thank you 😎

A kit like this can charge a 100ah battery in 1-2 days.

It's great to see the price coming down on this technology. With 21 roof panels, my neighbor is selling back power. A friend who works for Florida Light and Power says solid-state aluminum batteries are coming, and FPL is preparing the infrastructure because solar panels on every roof are inevitable.

It needs to be charged in one day to make it worthwhile

Or just use a gas generator

Power Stations

Take a look at Jackery Portable Power Stations and solar generators. Also Massimo brand at Costco...

After viewing several solar units

I think I'm better off with a small camping gas generator
It would be about the same amount of money if not less
Rain 🌧🌦or shine ✨😎

I have a 270 watt Panel and a 30 AMP MPPT charge controller I use on my travel trailer that I use to recharge the 200AH of 12V deep cycle FLA batteries. Paid $165 for the panel and another $130 for the charge controller. Works great for me. Last week in Sequoia I was producing 12.4 amps at 14.6 volts (180 watts) at 8:30 in the morning. My batteries were fully recharged around noon after being used most of night for heat. Heater (propane with 12V fan) turned on at 1 AM and ran about 1/2 the time until about 7 AM. Outside temp got into the 30s.

And would hate to buy something off the internet that would fall short of my situation. Maybe a video would have helped showing deep cycle battery being charged with regular battery charger plugged into the controller or a live demonstration from a salesmen

I'm use to plugging in 2 battery charges

At the same time a 6amp and a 10amp and charging two batteries at once. And don't solar panels use a battery to store power that eventually goes bad.

The controller goes straight to your battery. No extra charger needed. No gas, no fumes, no neighbors complaining about generator noise.

But getting the security token notice and won't download
In and out at the launching ramp
And a whole lotta fish dinners since 2010

Honestly if you had to send the night 🌙

On the water 💧where would you want to be, excluding a boat 🚢. Sitting in a kayak with a wet butt.
Stting in a kayak with a lawn chair.
Or laying down in a canoe. I used to take after noon naps
