Sierras are thawing...

Just like that, and all the Ice is gone...It's Warming up...the crawdads are waking up and the big trout are looking for a meal...

June Lake Villager

I'm all set for a week of fun in June at the Loop. Got my pontoon reserved, cabins paid, just need to fly my pops out from Ohio.

It will be my boys first of many trips to the Sierra's, daddy is super stoked!

Jim- are there crawdads in June or Gull Lake? I always see you catching em and wanted to possibly give it a shot. I haven't done any research yet (i will), but figured id ask ya.

Love the Sierras!

Got the inside scoop for June

After reserving my pontoon, i asked the gal on the phone who then directed to me the tackle shop where he told me there is thousands and to come speak to him when we arrive..

Stoked to try this as i love me some crawfish, shrimp boils.

FUN...and Delicious...

Hey Nick...you'll have a blast catching em with the family and cooking up those delicious Crawdads...
I'll be at Gull Lake for part of your trip so I'll try to hookup with you and share fishing and crawfish reports...
That Promar TR-503 is the way to go for your traps...with that "net funnel" entrance...once they're in, they're not getting out...
