Fred Hall Show Seminars...

Roman from OEX Sunset Beach did his first Fred Hall Show Seminar yesterday at the Long Beach Show...He rocked it...
Thanks for Supporting Hobie Kayaks Roman...
Roman in my opinion is one of the best young upcoming kayak fisherman on the So Cal scene and he's got some great info to share.

If you guys need some tips on Kayak fishing in Southern California or Central Cal. come by the show and relax at the Hobie Seminar area...
I'm speaking on targeting Halibut "the other White Meat"...
Roman's topic is "Harbor Bassin' and Coastal Kayak Fishing...
Ricardo Holden will be talking about Central Coast Locations and Techniques...
Kevin Nakada is giving away a lot of his La Jolla success secrets....
Frank Santiago, a consistent top finishing Hook-Up Baits Team Member is talking about tournament techniques...
Gilbert Hernandez is covering Trout Fishing in So Cal and the Sierras...
Tommy Ponce's seminar is on the popular "Islander" Mothership trips to San Clemente Island...
Here's a seminar schedule for the Long Beach Show this week...
If you can't make it to the show this week...be sure to stop by OEX next Saturday for our next SUNSET BEACH DEMO DAY...Andy will have a new Hobie OUTBACK and the New PRO ANGLER 360 along with a variety of different brands available to test drive.
See you at the SHOW...

I was there for that one. It’s a 3 ounce warbaits weedless glow with a 9 inch swim bait... I know because I went to like four different tackle shops to try to find one. It’s really hard to find a lead head that big in weedless.

That talk was amazing by the way... cramped my hand trying to keep up with notes

Test Drives and seminars...

Thanks Guys...that was a lot of hours but I had a fun week at Long Beach.
We put a whole bunch of people in Hobie's that had never peddled em before and Kevin and I got some great feedback on the 360 drive in the New Pro Angler...for the most part folks were raving about it and we even sold a few...LOL
That 360 PA is outrageous...you can hold a spot in the wind or current so easily and the kick-up fins work great if you hit an object or a shallow area.
I brought home the demo PA 360 after the show and I'll be adding it to my fleet for this spring and summers fishing. Thanks Hobie...!
...and that blue camo color is so cool looking too.

I've included a sneak peek at the new "SWAN 360" with room for 4...

The seminars were also a blast to do...we had pretty good attendance for the most part and lots of guys taking notes.
The Del Mar Show will also have a Hobie seminar area and Kevin and I will be doing the same seminars (fishing La Jolla and Trophy Halibut) as well as adding a bunch of new San Diego anglers as speakers down there. I think we'll also be adding a new seminar on using and reading your electronics for the Del Mar show as that's usually a popular topic that rarely gets covered enough.

Jim is that a new HOBIE prototype. I would love to see a promotional video from Hobie, of Kevin Nakada doing a La Jolla Surf Launch in 3-4' surf. Hope to see that soon, should be fun. Ha Ha Ha....
