tripleshot (sidescan) for la jolla 100+ feet?

does lowrance hook2 5" tripleshot (sidescan) even work for la jolla at 100+ feet? forgive my ignorance

Does it use a totalscan transducer?

Hard to keep up nowadays. If so, it should have a range of 180’ plus. Don’t quote me because I could be wrong. But on my hds 7, I have played with the sides scan settings and recall cutting it down to jig throwing distance give or take. You can support line and get a definitive answer.

I'm gonna say no, I have the hook 2 5 splitshot and mine craps out deeper than like 100 feet.
