Back in the day.
I did not catch my first halibut until I was 7. I did not drive the family boat until I was 13. I did not catch my first albacore until the age of 14. I did not catch my first dorado until I was 16. I did not work on a sport fishing boat until I was 18. WOW I did not do much as a child. I lost my first foot at the age of 69. I lost the second foot at 71. I lost a lot of stuff between 18 and 71. I will build my 4th boat at the age of 71. I will fish Baja with it until I die. I might die fishing. Happy, lucky me. I was born. I will die. A FISHERMAN.

Well Bob, I think that's what they call "coming full circle." Sounds like a pretty good life so far. Hoping many more fish in your future!

I don't think you should be sad and preparing to die. Everybody has found their way in fishing, I'm just starting it and I like it.

Daniel you miss judge me. I am happy and celibrating my Second Wind. Too many my age have given up and packed it in. Myself I rather build another boat and fish and explore Baja's fine fisheries. I am using this build to help others and my self to continue to Live the lif you love AND love the life you live. I WILL NOT Give up, life changes and we change withit. Dare to DREAM and then figure a way to make those dreams come true. I have found through the loss of 2 feet from daibetes that the only limits we have in life are those we place on ourselves. AND those that Fish and Game place on us. YES I am old school. Tigh lines amigos.
