A nice morning on the water.

Started the day at 6am in the parking lot with lamp on my head getting the kayak ready. I have seen people catch fish in the dark, and today it was the same for me-- NO fish until it was light.
First fish.

You will note the spinner fly I had to try out. It worked today! You people have doing all kind of unspeakable fly fish acts now. This is ALL your FAULT.
I need to go to Fly Fisher rehab.
Step 1, I will only us natural materials.
Step 2, I will only fish to rising trout.
Step 3, came to believe Lefty was always right!
BWHAHAHAHAHAAH.
Red and black was working also.

Switch rods and Liberace and Crazy dad

That was working too.
I also had 3 doubles.

A nice calico under the bridge.

One of my last fish as the tide was dyeing out. A ..WSB.

Totals
14 Spots
5 Calicos
1 WSB
Then it started to rain at 10:30 and it was time for me to go.

Myself, I've caught lots of fish in the dark and usually don't want the sun to rise all the way. But, we all have our preferences and yours is obviously working. Congrats.

When I make a quick 2 fly leader 10 to 15 Lb. mono or fluorocarbon.
For the upper fly, I tie a double surgeons knot and cut 1/2 off, this is your upper fly tag end. WELL I found bass do to care. So if I catch it in the Kelp or weed I have better chance of getting my fly back.
I found that at the LB wall you need all the help you can get fishing fly's in the kelp.
