ice fishing

33-When we moved to the new spot at lower depth, I was able to catch a fish at the same time as Jim. Double hookup.






33-At the Fred Hall Show I was asked by a friend, "what is that orange thing you have around your neck?”



In case I fall into water through thin ice, I can use the sharp spikes into the ice to pull myself out. Although the ice has always been more than thick enough where I fished, it is a good safety item to have.

That's a pretty interesting apparatus, those hand held ice spikes. Pretty nifty. Don't think I've ever seen anything like it before.
