Off topic a little but... Read the "readers" comments. Many of these bozo's seem upset that he lived? Yep.. forgot the PFD, point taken.

Nathan is a good friend of ours that used to work with my wife. He is an incredible paddler! It is fortunate that nothing tragic came from this! PFD, PFD, PFD!

A Live Vest and a single Glow Stick would have been priceless.

Just having it aboard as insurance would have changed His nightmare.
