9/20 Catalina Island

I had alot of fun............long day fishing. Wind was an issue. West end was barely bearable. Back side and Farnsworth I am sure were not. Did not make it to the island as early as hoped, BIG dry paddies put us there even later. Nice big sardines to fish with. Alot of boneys and I had my shots at YT. Couple creased heads and a followers on the iron. Started loading around 3AM and got home about 9:30PM. Killer boat, captain and crew, after injectors are cleaned up to get her up to speed I'll be going again fer sure! We trolled and paddy hopped home with nothing but one boney on a feather to show for it.

Some pix.

Andy, Clay, Wil, Martin and (Hotstick) John, thanks for coming along! Thanks to Wendy, Rick and to the Rebel for taking on mothership duties for the first time. Hopefully more to come.

Good job Andy. That's a difficult place to fish from the yak, having a nice sled like that could be pretty cool. Sure like to try the farnsworth bank from that yacht.

Very nice Andy.

Congrats on the YT Cabo.

Too bad for the dry paddies.

Definitely a nice ride and hopefully more trips to come

The "Rebel" was a comfortible boat. The bait tank is HUGE.
It's a great way to get half a dozen kayaks to fish the islands.
Good seeing everyone...let's do it again.
Thanks for setting this trip up Andy.
