Butts in the sewers. 6/13.
Got to the launch at 0600 and met Saba slayer on his pb. Hope you had good luck also! I got some good deans from the bait barge off I want trolling. It was slow for 1.5 hrs. Then the fun started. I hooked up about 7x. lost 5 for not having a trap rig. I found an old croc and cut it up to use the treb as my stinger. Once I had a trap rig I landed 2. They weren't legals but I landed them. Wind started to pick up at 1130, that's when I called it a day. Time to make some trap rigs. Also the c-rig worked better than the 3-way swivel rig. |

If anybody's looking for a Halibut...now is the time to start your search! Cabrillo (aka the Sewer) should start producing pretty good, if your willing to put in the time and effort!
