Pre-fishing the SM Bay
If the Bass are biting and the weather gods shine on us...it could take a 60" bag of Bass to slam the tourney. The Bass have been biting everything when they are in the eating mood...Mega baits, Leadhead w/ squid, Hookup Baits, and even Sardines... The guys at Inseine Bait are hoping to have $10 kayak scoops of Sardines at the bait receiver on June 9th and they'll have a cooler with some frozen squid for sale too. Thanks Larry, Jake, and Mike... Go to www.battleofthebays.com to register and for more info. I met with the chef at the yacht club last week and we decided that we'll grill the 50lbs. of BFT that Primetime Seafood has donated for our lunch. Marinated Hawaiian style on a bed of rice with Mac salad beer and cookies. I'll also make a batch of Spicy Tuna out of that greasy BFT...for you tuna lovers...!

Wow! Still haven't fished there yet. Anyone interested in doing some pre-tourney fishing?
