I've seen someone use a step stool with a rope attached for retrieval. It worked great. I also think it might just take some practice with the peg leg, or add some non-skid to your running board. Stump healing well so far no sings of infection. Stitches out TODAY I hope. Shrinker might be fitted tomorrow afternoon. No prostetic for a few weeks so.....then it might just be off to Baja in 3 weeks if everything continues to heal up. Tight Lines amigos.
