Skater's Christmas Gift idea
Hobie is offering a cool replica of their 60s Super Surfer, I have some on order and already getting a couple pre-sales. Pretty sweet nostalgic board for any ol farts....... or I am considering giving one to my daughter. https://www.hobie.com/super-surfer-skateboard/

Those are dope. I also have a Land Yachtz, the EVO model. Got too fast for me. Having to step off a board going 50 MPH pretty much means a trip to the ER, and at least 6 weeks healing the sprained ankle or worse. My best was 57MPH on Wood Canyon in Aliso Viejo, CA. That was before they re-drew the lines and before there were a ton of people in Aliso.

That's awesome, Andy! Would make for a great art piece for us rider/waterman hybrids.
I gave up skating when I moved to LA. It took one trip down my neighborhood street (on my rocket of a Landyachtz Swtchblade) and that was it. I was lucky I made it out alive. Now I realize its water only for me and no more streets for this old fart... |

My dad has an original in his garage. I would play on it as a kid.
