Identify species please

Hi, can anyone identify this species? (attached)

I can't figure out how to get the picture in the thread so I attached it.

Where did you take the picture? It’s hard to tell wth that picture but if I had to guess I would say yellowtail

With yellow fins and tail? Fins were definitely bright yellow.

That's looks just like the mackerel we catch at the San Clemente Pier. I love that size on a fly line.
