Late Afternoon-Night Float Mission Bay March 31, 2017
FishingMike and I were able to get out late yesterday afternoon. We launched from the beach by the Bahia. Breeze was light and the water calm. Light Boating traffic at 4:15. Crew teams were out after 5:00 but stayed out of the channel and general fishing areas. We mostly fished the west side of Mission Bay. Not much biting on the cast. Between 4:30 and 6:30 received several lazy bites with nothing landed. After 6:30 is when we started landing. Fishing Mike had a similar experience. Fishing Mike - 1 sculplin, and 3 spotties casting near the Life Guard station. Bubbacee7 - 6 catfish bait and 1 Cali. All on the Troll. Looking forward to the next trip which might be some time away. Daughter keeps me busy with her softball. May the water call to you and may the bites be plenty. |

Warriormike it is crazy. My daughter just finished the select season and is still play in our rec league. Plays 12U and plays up on 14U team when they are short. Good experience but it is a lot of work. I am just glad she is motivated to play.

My daughter is a pitcher. Crazy is an understatement.
