Transducer mount on Stealth 14

I am finally getting around to installing my hook 4 on my Stealth 14. I mounted the transducer using the built in mount for lowrance fish finders. I mounted the finder on the xwing. I have the wire for the transducer running through the hull under the seat. I just don't know how to bring the wire through the hull up to the fish finder. Do I just drill a hole? If so how do I prevent it from taking on water into the hull? I appreciate your help.

This video should help. I haven't got mine mounted on my stealth 12 yet but have all the supplies and this is how I'm going to run it. You can get the caps from west marine.

Thanks so much! I have been looking and looking for a tutorial and the one you linked was exactly what I needed but couldn't find! The transducer on the hook however doesn't seem to fit into the hull as flush. I'll have to look at it some more.

Very true. When King Saba had his Stealth 12, he had to take frequent bilge pump breaks.

I have an X-Factor and barely get any water in it. My older Stealth 12 used to get about an ounce or two in it. Check your hatches and make sure that they're sealed and tight. The front hatch not been securely fastened is usually the culprit.
